The Bahá'í Faith is a religion of unity.

Bahá'ís believe that there is One God, One Religion, One Mankind and in the Oneness of Mankind.
All religions are different facets of the one main religion of God. All are worshipping the same God albeit in different ways. All mankind are members of one human family created by God.
The founder of the Bahá'í Faith was Bahá'u'lláh who, in Iran, in 1863 made what were then very revolutionary statements emphasising the following principles: the equality of men and women, an auxiliary universal language, a world government and the harmony of religion and science. These teachings are now becoming universally accepted but Bahá'u'lláh was imprisoned and exiled for His beliefs.
In 1998/1999 we celebrated the Centenary of the Bahá'í Faith in the United Kingdom.

After Christianity the Bahá'í Faith is the most widespread religion on the planet.

A Bahá'í prayer for Unity.

O my God! O my God!
Unite the hearts of Thy servants, and reveal to them Thy
great purpose. May they follow Thy commandments and abide in Thy law.

Help them, O God, in their endeavor, and grant them strength to serve Thee.
O God! Leave them not to themselves, but guide their steps by the light of Thy knowledge, and cheer their hearts by Thy love.

Verily, Thou art their Helper and their Lord.

(Bahá'u'lláh: Bahá'í Prayers)

A 'Hidden Word' from Bahá'u'lláh's writings

O SON OF BEING! Thou art My lamp and My light is in thee. Get thou from it thy radiance and seek none other than Me. For I have created thee rich and have bountifully shed My favour upon thee.
(Bahá'u'lláh: Arabic Hidden Words, No 11)

A Promise of Bahá'u'lláh

Yet so it shall be; these fruitless strifes, these ruinous wars shall pass away, and the "Most Great Peace" shall come.... (Bahá'u'lláh: Compilation of Writings about Peace, page 157)

This is a personal very brief summary. For more authoritative information link to the major sources above.

Bahá'ís believe

that the followers of all religions believe in the same God but they see different aspects of Him depending on their background and upbringing.

God is far too great for any man to fully know. All men of God are trying to know God better.

'Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be'

Bahá'ís are followers of Bahá'u'lláh (1817 - 1892), a messenger from God who taught that there should be one God and one religion for the whole of humankind.

Bahá'ís believe that God has sent many messengers over the centuries to people of many lands and no man is deprived of access to God because of the time and place of his birth.

Bahá'ís believe that these messengers include Abraham, Moses, Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster Jesus Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon Him) and Bahá'u'lláh. Others will follow as mankind progresses and changes and is in need of further guidance according to the age.

Bahá'u'lláh confirmed the universal truths, about prayer, faith and good works and gave man further guidance about how to govern the world in such a way as to preserve justice and fairness, to conserve the world's resources and bring about a 'Most Great Peace'.

Bahá'ís are established in all the countries and major cities in the world and have an international centre on Mount Carmel in the Holy land.

Bahá'ís believe that each individual should make their own independent investigation into religious truth and only embrace a religion when they feel personally that it is right.

Therefore Bahá'ís do not press their religion on anyone but only offer it as a gift and invite enquirers to investigate further and if they feel it is the truth then to join them in their work of unifying the planet.
