Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Kirklees

Spiritual Assemblies are elected bodies of nine Bahá'ís in good standing who live in the local community. Bahá'ís believe that Bahá'u'lláh is the messenger of God for this day and meet to worship and consult together on a regular basis. They have the spiritual welfare of all people as their goal.

The Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Kirklees was first formed in 1980 and was incorporated in April 1998. Bahá'í meetings have taken place in the neighbouring Bahá'í community of Bradford since 1927.

Message to World's Religious Leaders
